Flip LAMP can be used to simply run your own or any published LAMP assay in the Flip platform and achieve enhanced performance and convenience through our unique test format, stabilised enzymes and integrated visual read out. Adding your own primers with a straightforward oligo modification is all that is required.

Alternatively, you can work with us to develop a custom LAMP assay for your application or fully integrate your own LAMP assay into the Flip platform.

Looking for an even faster molecular test? We can also develop an assay for your application using our proprietary chemistry to deliver a 10 minute amplification time and lower assay temperature alongside all the other benefits of the Flip platform.

  • Through its multianalytic amplification technology, Flip brings the power of molecular performance, with single cell detection capability and single base specificity, to any location. An integrated control assay ensures test reliability and repeatability and enhances user confidence.

  • Flip tests are based a proprietary isothermal PCR amplification of specific DNA or RNA sequences from a target pathogen (bacteria or virus) which produces a detectable signal in just 10 minutes. Coupled directly to a fast-developing nano-flow strip Flip provides an unrivalled time to result. Flip LAMP provides simple access to use this widely developed amplification technology and access the thousands of published assays available for testing with LAMP.

  • An innovative miniaturised design with few components ensures waste is minimised and provides an affordable testing solution for any application. No upfront investment in expensive instrumentation or equipment is required.

  • Following amplification, the test is simply inverted to initiate the development of clear black-on-white result lines ensuring minimal hands-on time and unprecedented ease-of-use.

  • Flip is designed to be compatible with any 0.2 mL heat block or PCR machine.  With a clear visual read-out, no specialist equipment is required for either amplification or signal detection.  The Flip Nest, available on its own or as part of a test starter kit, is a bespoke USB-C powered device which further simplifies onsite testing.

  • Freeze dried reagents allow for ambient storage and a simple reaction set-up. A fully sealed device format avoids risk of contamination at the test site by hazardous samples or amplified DNA.
