Flip is a molecular diagnostics platform developed for the rapid identification of problematic pathogens across industry. It combines room-temperature reagent storage, ultra-fast amplification chemistry and an integrated visual readout into a simple, self-contained test format.

Flip tests require no complex instrumentation and minimal hands-on time. Results are delivered in minutes, enabling confident decisions without reliance on central laboratories. Flip is ideal for both onsite and offsite testing across a diverse range of industries including research, bio-processing, food safety, agriculture and water testing.

We have also extended the platform with Flip LAMP which brings many of the benefits of Flip into a universal testing kit allowing researchers to simply integrate published or custom assays into the Flip device using this widely adopted amplification chemistry.

Accurate

Molecular amplification chemistry and proprietary enzymes deliver highly sensitive pathogen detection with single-base specificity. An integrated internal control verifies every reaction, ensuring consistent performance and reliable results.

Rapid

Flip assays amplify target DNA or RNA sequences using a proprietary isothermal chemistry, producing a detectable signal in just 10 minutes. Coupled with a fast-developing nano-flow strip, the system provides clear results and a simple workflow with minimal hands-on time.

Low Cost

A fully integrated device with very few components; Flip tests require no dedicated instrumentation. Removing the need for significant upfront investment and simplifying workflows enables molecular testing to be deployed affordably in a wide range of environments.

Flexible

Flip tests are compatible with any 0.2mL heat block or PCR machine. With a clear visual read-out, no specialist equipment is required for either amplification or signal detection. The compact USB-C powered Flip Nest can further simplify portable or onsite testing.

Versatile

Freeze dried reagents enable ambient storage and simple reaction set-up. The sealed device format minimises risk of contamination by hazardous samples or amplified DNA. Alongside our proprietary tests Flip LAMP allows researchers to run custom or published LAMP assays within the Flip platform.
